Sangram Jena, a bi-lingual poet and translator, has published four volumes of English poems, four books of Odia poetry and 10 books of translation. His poems have been translated into English and other Indian languages and published in journals in India and abroad. He has authored, translated and edited more than 50 books, both in English and Odia, including Gandhiji’s Odisha (Two volumes). He is a recipient of a senior fellowship, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He has received the Sahitya Akademi Award for Translation and the Bhanuji Rao Award for Poetry. He edits Marg Asia, a literary journal in English and Nishant in Odia. He is currently the Vice President of the Odisha Sahitya Akademi.
